{"id":627,"date":"2008-03-27T10:06:27","date_gmt":"2008-03-27T14:06:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/yugflog.com\/blog\/?p=627"},"modified":"2009-02-23T04:19:55","modified_gmt":"2009-02-23T08:19:55","slug":"tigers-threat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/yugflog.com\/blog\/2008\/03\/tigers-threat\/","title":{"rendered":"Tiger&#8217;s Threat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tiger Woods made the following comment during the final round of the CA Championship last weekend when a photographer took a shot in his backswing:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The next time a photographer shoots a f****** picture on my backswing I\u2019m going to break his f****** neck.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He apologized for the threat, but not the language. That sounds about right. I don\u2019t have an issue with cussing, especially when playing a competitive sport. It\u2019s just not a big deal. I\u2019ve never sat courtside at a professional basketball game or stood on the sideline of a football game, but I would imagine language can get a little uncouth.<\/p>\n<p>Golf being tagged as a \u201cGentleman\u2019s Game\u201d is a blessing and a curse. On one hand the visual is anything but that of what you would imagine fierce competition to look like. There\u2019s a bunch of men in khaki pants and tucked-in shirts that can\u2019t even carry their own bags a few miles. On the other hand, there is no other sport that demands so much of a player and, more importantly, fans and media.<\/p>\n<p>There is a huge burden to shoulder as a golf fan. You have to be conscious of when and where you move at all times.
