No longer do I \u201ctake pictures.\u201d Instead, I \u201cshoot pictures\u201d and \u201chave three of twelve exposures left.\u201d Part of this is because a picture isn\u2019t a picture until you take it. Until then, it\u2019s a potential exposure (an unexposure?).<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s funny that reverting to old technology would give me a sense of photography superiority.<\/p>\n<p><strong>iPhone for First Impressions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve started to frame shots with my iPhone before shooting them with my Diana+. By taking a picture with my iPhone, I get a sense of whether the picture is worth wasting a film exposure on.
