  • Big Hill Bench

    IMG_0792.JPG

I built this bench from two stumps left by the road by the power company, six nails from my Grandpa Rogers’ workshop, and an extra board we had in the garage. It’s just big enough to fit the whole family on the first really snowy day of the winter.

  • Bye Bye Christmas Tree

We took down the tree today and used it for a bonfire. All of Harvey’s grandparents came over for a s’more and to play LINKEE – but really just to see Harvey, who taught us all how to shoot hoops.

  • Resolutions for 2015

My resolutions and goals for 2015 are:

Body: Exercise one hour per day and make better food choices for each meal. In general, choose to be active over sedentary.

Work: Excel at work (specifics noted off-blog). Have a plan for each day; be proactive and not reactive. My attention is my trade.

Family: Be present, off my phone, and invested in strengthening our family and improving our home. Think through my entire family and how they are doing. If I don’t know, inquire.

Mind: And because I miss the outlet and emersion of writing, I will write for five minutes each day – on- or off-blog – with the intent of capturing what I am grateful for that day.

Fun: Have fun at Disney World!!! And, in general, seek adventure and laughs.
